When it comes to the enormous crisis we all face, as ordinary citizens, Lawrence Summers and his ilk are the problem, not the solution. No man who is an unrepentant admirer of Milton Friedman should be serving on any cabinet supposedly in the service of the people. Below, in his own words, Lawrence Summer’s open appreciation for one of the most hideous ”economists” seen in the 20th Century, an admirer of rightwing butchers like Augusto Pinochet, the working class, and much else.
